Default Taking a trip to the wild side

I did it. After visiting here for about 1-2 months, I just ordered my 2013 F150 XLT regular cab in Ingot Silver with 4 wheel drive. I ordered the long bed with the 3.5l Ecoboost engine, 3.73 limited slip differential. I also took the max towing and max payload package with 301A . Dealer MSRP was $38,665 but am getting $5182 off which includes discounts. Not exactly sure when it will be delivered.

I know most of you like the 4 dr sedans sitting on the truck chassis, but I still like a truck that you can put a sheet of plywood and close the tailgate. My only concerns are the condensation problem and the long wheelbase. I already made the deal, so don't embarrass me with how bad my negotiating skills are. It's a done deal.

Sounds like a very unique truck. I am looking forward to the pics of that rig.....if you are happy with the deal you got, don't pay any attention to those who say they could have done better......they weren't sitting there with you. Nice job!

A good deal is one where you walk away happy with it - don't listen to anyone else.

I also want to see pics of it. There's a dark blue pearl truck in my neighborhood, equipped similarly, but I think it's an XL, not XLT. Nice truck, great payload! I should've paid more attention to payload capacities when I got my truck - it's too easy to over load when the sticker says 1406 lbs.

Congrats!

Yeah, it's a shame that all you see are SuperCrew shortbeds. They think just because they can fit an ATV or a bike back there, it counts.

LMAO....

Or we like to carry people as much as we like to carry cargo.

Not a fan of 3 dudes sitting sidexsidexside in a regular cab. LOL

Congrats!!! I've got the Screw short bed and had to haul a treadmill for my daughter last weekend. It BARELY fit in the back. When I bought it I figured I've got an enclosed trailer, I wanted the 4 doors and I wanted it to fit in my garage so I didn't have many options. Last weekend, however, I was sure wishing I had the longer bed.

Sounds like a nice truck, I'd like to see a picture of it. I like the long beds.
