I've been looking at getting one of these.

I like the steps on the corner much better. The hitch step just seems impractical.

Amp Research also makes a side step. Super easy to install, it bolts right on...very sturdy and easy to deploy and retract. I put one on the driver side and use it quite a bit. Saves the knees.....

this step is the reason my brothers got $4000 of dental work to his upper teeth! it gave out when he was stepping up in the truck with a bag of concrete.

The amp is the one I have and I like it a lot. Easy to use and almost completely hidden when tucked up and away

I LOVE the step and pole................I turned 61 YOA a couple of days ago, and I would not have a truck ever again without this feature.

Both look like decent options, but if you use your hitch regularly, it looks like the top one would work better --- and you would not have to take it on and off all the time either.

My brother's F350 has it, I'm super jealous but his tailgate is also much taller than mine.

I never knew what I was missing until I bought my truck with the TG step, my old bones thank me every time I use it.
