Anyone know if you can buy a panel for your tailgate like the platinum's. I've looked far and wide with no luck. If you could help out that would be appreciated!

Recently purchased a *new* 2012+ F-250 Platinum tailgate panel at ebaY®. The center section is raised and flat with no holes for emblems (except the Ford oval) nor grove unlike that of a Platinum F-150. Will take some slight modification to get the double-sided mounting tape to work, but shouldn't be a big deal..

 

About how much did it run you?

i saw a f350 platinum yesterday and it was sooooo freaking ugly
nothing like the panel inserts from the early 90's

 

What real purpose does a post like this serve? The OP is asking for assistance with finding the Platinum applique and you decide to jump in and crap all over what he likes. I am certainly not hesitating to throw the BS flag on your comment. I guess it makes you feel good about yourself to let people know you don't like their preferences.

 

I only ask because I really just want on to paint black and place on the back of my truck. I tried to PD the tailgate section I want and had no luck with it and the lines peeled as soon as I took the tape off.
