I like the sequential, but I guess its really that bump out at the bottom that limits clearance. I read reviews of people saying they have a 2009+ F150 and love it, so I wonder if I buy off Amazon and it doesn't fit I can return it without paying shipping...doubt it.

Those are OK, but the as soon as the first section burns out, they look ignorant. I'll never install one, but ... YMMV.

I already have another brand 48" (not the 60") due to the "bump out" on the Pass side and though it fits tight, there is no hitting of the tailgate, so I am curious on the OPT7 fitment now that someone else mentioned it...

You saw reviews from F150 owners with no fit issues?
Maybe they also have the 48" & not the longer 60" one?

(Not sure when I'm going to get a chance to get a good look at mine & trial fit it to be sure).

Funny, I want the 60", but was wondering if the 48" would be better fit b/c of bump. I wonder how it would look, its only 6" less on each side. Lethal Weapon, can you take a picture of your 48"?

Will do. I'm on lunch right now & just got done raining, but I'll post a few pics of the "standard light bar" in about an hour.
I forget what brand it is and had it for 2 years with no issues..... (but like I said earlier, the OPT7 just looks cool and my Dad wanted one, so I ordered 2).
I'll make sure I don't break it when I have a chance to swap it out just in case of a fitment issue.

I have to agree, I love LED's and in theory these light bars should be cool, but whenever I see one I think trash. And I want to like them, they make so much sense. Also I hate to just be negative but I think the ones where half the light bar blinks as a blinker looks really cheap. In my opinion if I were to ever get one, I'd want it to only come on with the brakes and nothing else, no running light connection.

Here's a couple quick shots. (Truck is pretty dirty and looking for a break in the weather).

But this will give you a good idea.

Btw: I don't use any of the trailer plugs at the bumper.... I tapped into the harness on the inside, and pigtailed a 4 way connector off of that.... this way it is a simple change out, if need be.... PLUS none of the trailer connections doors are opened right below the bumper for dirt & debris to get inside AND also gives it a cleaner look too.

Here is my Opt7 bar mounted on the bottom edge of the tailgate. It was too thick to fit without the tailgate hitting it in the recessed area.

You can easily do this....just don't connect the running light wire or blinker wire on the bar..and if it comes with a trailer plug...just cut the wires that you don't want to come on
