Default Tailgate cables

One of my tailgate cables is longer than the other. Has anyone gotten Ford to match the lengths so they are about equal, or is it a moot point and not worth the bother?????

To summarize the other threads... It's common and doesn't hurt anything. It's usually not the cables that are different but the tailgate mounts are slightly off. Every truck I've had was like this, some more than others. Normal loads, the one cable holds fine. Heavy loads, the tailgate sags slightly and the second cable holds as well. No big deal.
