Did you try disabling the phonebook auto-download feature?

You don't need to remove the fuse. All you have to do is reset the default. Be sure to look at the list of voice commands in the Sync pamphlet. I was also confident I was using the correct voice commands but was not.

Thumbs up Seems to be OK

Thanks for the info. Did a master reset and pulled the fuse and system seems to work. I am studying the NAV manual. Takes a Phd to get it down. Of course yesterday my iPhone got baptized in a lake so I am now working the issue.

Had to pull the fuse on mine. All of the resets failed to do anything. All is well again for now...

I guess I'll try to disable the phone book. I hope it works. Has anyone taken it in to ford and what did they tell you???

I had the exact same issue twice. First time the dealer fixed it. This time I pulled the negative cable off the battery (for 5 min) and pulled fuse #2 and 13 with no luck. I just updated my system with Sync VersionGen1 - V3.2.2 and it fixed the problem. I hope it fixed it for good this time.
