You guys feeling left out, don't!!!

The 3.2.2 update is only for us poor 2011 owners that have had busted-*** sync in our trucks since delivery.

Your actually ahead of the game since you never had the issues we had to begin with

You need to wait. When that rebooting message shows, it takes about 8 more minutes for the flash to complete.

The first 'complete' is just the copy of the firmware to the unit. It's actually being installed while that 'rebooting' message is on the screen.

Be patient

Worked for me, but not with Firefox. IE downloaded it easy enough though. Uploading to the truck took about 2 minutes. Confirmed in syncmyride that all is good. I guess we'll see if the update helps out in the next couple days. Thanks for the heads up.

Never could get it to download. Tried several times with a new/freshly formatted PNY jump drive. (tried both FAT32 and NTFS formats)

Here's the message:
Your files are downloading to your USB drive.

Due to technical factors, this process could take some time to start. You may not see the progress bar for up to one minute.

Please do not remove your USB drive until the download process is complete.
Download Not Completed
We could not download your installation. Please try again by safely removing your USB Drive and plugging it back in again. If you receive this message again, then Contact Us.

Lots of double talk in a little area there!

After trying several times, and leaving it alone for up to 30 mins, still nothing downloads.....sent them a message via the the contact link....we'll see if I ever get a reply.

Since we're on the subject of SYNC, I had a really wacky thing happen two days ago. I was going down a ramp onto the interstate (driver and passenger windows open)....all of a sudden my radio volume starts going up, up, and up to the max. The screen that shows the station and temp went wacky too.... The radio station digits vanished, the outside temp read 00F, and there were fan indicators on each side of the screen that both read 88F with indicators that the fans were on high (as would be present if I had dual climate control, but I don't). I shut the radio off by hitting the on/off button, turned it back on, and everything went back to normal.
You can bet the truck will be going into the dealership next week to be checked out.

Downloaded....installed...works great. I can leave my flash drive in the port when I stop the truck. When I start the truck USB comes right up. Prior Sync would not work at all if I did the same.

I downloaded it installed it and nothing. I still can't leave my i pod plugged in to to the usb port if I do when I start my truck back up sync does not work. It took about five minutes for the second installation complete then removed the thumb drive. No difference.

Agree! I would rather have a gen 1 than this piece of garbage. I hope this update fixes it.

Ed,

Had the same issue on IE8 so I tried it with FireFox and all went well.
