So, I'm trying to update my sync software to the latest update with the hopes of getting the audio source to default to Bluetooth (finally) and I can't tell if the update has been a success or not. 2011 fx4, first version of sync.

I must be missing something, but does anyone know how to get to a screen that indicates the currently installed version of sync?! I have no idea how I can't find it, but I could use some help. Thanks!

 

When I tried to update my SYNC , Ford told me updates we're no longer available for my 2011 FX4.
​.You might want to try Forscan. The guys in the 2009-2014 Forscan thread are super helpful. And patient. Lol

The Ford Owner page https://owner.ford.com/tools/account...p-to-date.html says there is an update available (after login and vin registration etc) and also says my sync software hasn't been updated since 2010.




I was able to download the update, and ran it in the truck via USB but I can't find the screen that verifies the version 4.6 had been installed.
