Default SYNC stopped understanding me?

From the 1st week I had my truck my voice commands worked perfect. Simply push the voice button and say "phone home" and bingo, it would say calling home.

Then, this weekend, I tried to call home, said "phone home" and it replied "phone, say a command" So I said "call home" it just beeped and said no home number.

Tried a bunch of other numbers, same thing. It's like it doesn't understand my contacts or something.
I did a master rest, re-linked my phone, downloaded the contacts and still the same thing.

Has anyone else ever had this problem and a solution before I end up at the dealer... Thanks, in advance.

I've had a similar issue recently. Won't recognize when I tell it to call my wife. Can't be bothered to reset or anything. Have you tried pulling fuse 2 I believe it is? Most minor issues that works for me.

Yes, mine has been like that for quite awhile. I just gave up and use my bluetoothe.
Fuse 2 you say? Will I lose my radio presets or anything?

Good Luck with that...

Talking to sync is like speaking to a dyslexic German who stutters with Torrets! (no offense to the Germans)

But mine was working flawlessly for 18 months and then all of a sudden, it thinks I'm talking like a German with Tourets.

The extent of my relationship to sync is me saying "bluetooth audio," and she doesn't always get that right!

You ever stop at a red light and look over...to see someone yelling, screaming and swearing at their dashboard?

Ya, those are the people with Sync...

Try updating the software version, even if it is up to date like reloading it all.
Could just be one corrupt file thats screwing everything up.

It is microsoft after all...
