last month i took my 2011 f150 in to get serviced and they did a sync update. ever since when i dial a number from my phone it pops the number up saying unknown .. before the update was put on there i could dial from my phone it would put the number or if the number was a address contact downloaded into my phone book it wood have there name. but ever since this update it says unknown if i dial from my phone. if i use the voice sync service it will pop up the persons name or the number i say but not if i dial it from my phone . the service people think im on crack saying it never done it before the update in which i should know i drove it and it did before . does anyone else know or how to fix it back or whats going on with this ? also does anyone know why snyc hasnt fix the issue eith every time you get in the truck you have to go to message notifications and turn it off due to it doesnt save like its suppose to ..

 

Delete the pair/connection from both the truck and your phone, I'd even do a battery pull on the phone after you delete the truck from your phone. Shut the truck off as well. Reconnect the phone/truck in the normal manner. You didn't say this was done already so if you tried this, sorry. It sounds like the truck hasn't downloaded your phonebook, or there's something wrong with the pairing.
