Default Sync Problems

A few days ago I plugged my iPhone in to my truck and it told me the index was full and that some songs may be unavailable. It would not play anything and kept indexing. At first I tried unplugging the phone and turning the truck off and on again (that's taken care of some of sync's quirks in the past). Nothing changed, so I did a master reset of the sync system. Still, no change. I looked around some and some folks said disconnecting and reconnecting the battery fixed the problem for them. I tried that, and now the AUX option doesn't work at all. I push the button and it goes right back to AM/FM or whatever it was on before. Any ideas? Just one more thing on the ever-growing list of problems I've had with this lovely vehicle.

Thanks
Brian

I see a lot of people doing this as well, and I don't recommend it (unless your dealership is advising you to do so). :/ Anyhow, is there anything else not working?

Sync is working fine again after I let the truck sit for a little while. As far as the electronics go, everything is working fine, but I have a lengthy list of other issues I can't seem to get fixed if that's what you're asking.

Thanks

If anything on your list is SYNC related, let me know. It won't hurt to troubleshoot.

Perhaps your truck just needed to sit for a while and realize that its behavior was unnaceptable...
