The only song it plays is the Samsung default song that is preinstalled on the phone. It will play through bluetooth fine, but I loose that ability to use the Sync function and say "Play (artist)". Anyone know a workaround or what I'm doing wrong. I have Kitkat OS and the music is not on an SD card. Thanks!
Just out of Pure Curiosity I Plugged my Note 3 into the Sync USB port in my truck with the USB 3.0 plug, and it wouldn't play my Music on my Note 3's micro SD card in my phone! Only would play my Ringtones on the phone, lmao!

Yeah it should remember where it was connected last.

I think part of the Android issue is the changes Google made to the OS. Before your music was on the SD card and you could allow access to it as a drive. Sync could read that and play the music off that. With new KitKat versions that's no longer an option and Sync doesn't know how to deal with it.

With the Apple devices, the protocol for music is basically unchanged since the first iPod with the 30-pin connector and is the same across iPod, phone, etc..

When I want music or something off the phone I just use Bluetooth now. I just wish they would get the title/artist to display over BT. Neither my iPhone or the Galaxy will do it.

Install the Amazon mp3 app. It will if you set up sync in settings for the app. It's a bit quirky to use voice command unless you have playlists though.
