Default SYNC with GPS

About a month ago, i started my truck one morning and noticed my GPS was not functioning properly. Upon a closer look it had NO GPS in the upper let corner of the screen and my arrow was showing me all over the place. Any ideas on whats up with this? Yes I have the current version of software from SYNC.

Pull the positive on the battery and let it sit for 15 to 20 min

Hi ugahutch,

Try a master reset: https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-...ter-reset.html

If the issue continues, I recommend visiting your local dealership to have the navigation system serviced. They're in the best position to resolve this for you.

I performed the Master reset when this first started and did not solve anything. I guess the only option is to spend more money at the dealership

I have not tried the battery cable trick yet, may give that a go
