Default switch placement ideas...

I want to add a few switches for various things, but I'm unsure about where to put them. I'm not necessarily after a factory look (although that would be nice, if possible), but I don't want them to look out of place. There are a lot of creative folks here so, post up your ideas on where to mount switches - pics would be great.

Here is what I did, I even ordered a new trim piece just in case I messed mine up. I didnt, so that was $63 wasted but at least I can put it back to stock if ever needed.

Hey crikk, I saw yours in the e-locker mod thread - I do like what you did. How do you remove that piece? Can you see the switches very well with the angle of that trim piece?

Thanks!

I took a piece of 1/4" oak, and trimmed it to fit beside the seat, next to the shifter. Its stuck on with 3M automotive tape so I can remove without leaving any holes. Its been stained 3 times with a walnut stain, and topped with 2 coats of satin clear to match the center console wood grain, somewhat.

I wanted some Aux switches and was wondering if the Raptor Aux switches would work and is installed in front of the shifter replacing the small storage area. I like getting ideas from members though.

All you need to do is pop off the console cover (just lift up at the side and it will come right up, and then you can pop that little panel out. That is why I chose that spot because it was so easy to get to. And yes you can see them fine.

I was looking at the space to the right of the panel illumination dimmer. Might be room for three or four toggle switches there. Don't know what's behind that area, though.

CRIKK, I like the looks and placement of your switches. No chance you have any pictures/info on how you installed them is there?
