Default Supercab front door issues

I have a 2013 XLT eco boost with the supercab config. The front door on the drivers side does not easily latch. You have to shut it harder and the short back door flexes when you do. You don't have to slam it, but if you shut is easily It won't fully latch. On the passenger side all you have to do is gently shut the front door and it latches easily. I just got this truck a few months ago and have been steadily working my way through various maintenance and other issues. Wondering if this is a wear issue or whether this is something I can adjust somehow. I would like the drivers side front door to easily latch like the passenger front door.

Thanks

Was doing a bit more comparing between the driver and passenger sides. It appears the rear door on the driver side does not get pulled all the way in when shut and latched. You can move it in and out a tiny bit. The rear door on the passenger side does not move at all when latched. It is rock solid so the passenger front door just hits a solid latch and connects. The driver side has to push the rear door in a bit then latch. So wondering if anyone has adjusted the rear door at all to pull it all the way in when latched so there is no movement at all. Thanks

I'm pretty sure the latch bar for the door, top and bottom do have a slot in them so you could make a slight adjustment.
When the doors are shut, do the doors aligned with the truck body lines and look proper?

Have had many supercabs & I can tell you the front door will not latch properrly as it should if the rear door is not closing tightly...... Having said above you may have to adjust the rear door to achieve above !!

Thanks for the suggestions. I went out there and loosened the bolts for the top rear door latch on the ceiling of the cab. Kind of sketchy with a T40 bit, but they came loose. I backed them out a bit and tried seeing how much play there was. It didn't seem like much but I held the latch piece in while retightening the bolts. The rear door now shuts nice and tight. As a result the front door now latches far more consistently with minimum effort and a nice thunk when it latches, just like the passenger front door.

Much better set up now. Thanks!

Nice!

I was going to say try adjusting in the direction the door needs to go.....but no need.
