The mod is really simple, since you just remove these two tabs from the adapter to make a flat surface for the SCT programmer to fasten to with the 3M double stick tape.

The programmer is fine, but the 5* tune makes the 6.2L pull the 35's like they were stock tires.

Open the door and pull the weatherstripping loose near the dash, then remove the panel on the side just below the tuner pod in the picture below. You can remove this panel by pulling straight out on the round hole leading to the door panel. Next route the wire behind the thin piece of trim remaining and down to the OBDII port. This is the best piture I have of it at the moment, but it's pretty straightforward once you remove the small panel on the side of the dash.

Thats where I have mine going thru now. I couldnt get the weatherstripping to budge so I just have it tucked in that little door but it wont clip back together all the way due to the cord coming out of it. Ill have to mess with it more tomorrow. Thank you for this idea and the help I love the look way better than a suction cup.

Run the wire behind this panel as shown by the red outline of the wire and then there is room behind the panel to get inside the dash. With a little work, you can get the wire between the A Pillar and the pod. Then run the wire behind the panel with the arrow on it to enter behind the dash.

Forgive my poor artistic talents, but hopefully this helps.

You should be able to grab the weatherstripping where that arrow is at and pull it away from the panel, then slide the wire behind it.
