Default Success - SCT Livewire in EDGE Pod

Finally took the time to mount up my SCT Livewire in my old EDGE pod since the EDGE won't read my 2013 6.2L. While I like the gauge function better on the EDGE CTS, my tunes are on the SCT.

I mounted the Livewire to the adapter for the CTS and it ended up looking pretty good in my opinion.

That looks awesome! My windshield mount for the SCT broke into pieces. How exactly does the unit fasten to the mount?

The pod itself is from EDGE and attaches to the dash with double stick tape with Velcro. The pod looks similar to this which is for a different model truck;

To fasten the SCT to the mount to the pod you use an adapter from EDGE and it fit's were the EDGE CS is in the unit above. The EDGE uses the tabs to mount to the pod, but I had to cut these off flush to mount the SCT. I simply used some double stick tape to mount the SCT to the adapter which looks like this;

The nice part about using the adapter is that you can quickly and easily remove the tuner from the pod if you need or want to. In the end if it didn't work satisfactorily all I had to buy was the adapter, but I have had it in for about a month now with temperatures above 90 F the last week with no problems.

Very nice! I'm thinking about a tuner but was wondering about where to mount it. This looks really clean.

Is there anyway you could snap a pic of the back of the sct unit to see how exactly it looks where you modded the mount. Love this idea and wanna copy it as Im not a fan of the suction cups
