My last F150 had this issue and I just assumed it was form hauling hay bales. Glad to know it's been solved should it happen on my new truck! Thanks JFro50!

Any Ford techs want to chime in here?
For my part, I believe 100% this is the cause. When I first got this truck, it was in July of a particularly warm summer. I used the A/C all the time and there was often a river pouring out underneath it. This year, there is nothing, so I know the drain is clogged. Looking online shows that the design is poor and it clogs often. I'd also guess the fact that I back in up hill makes that worse and water pools there.

Thanks for the support! Now, how do we fix this? Where exactly is the drain supposed to be? My truck NEVER poured out water since I bought it new. If there is a drain, mine must has been clogged from day one. If there is not, how do I safely install one, without damaging the evap core?

From what we are hearing, Jfro50 has had his problem solved...at least so far.
I have been in contact with my dealer & service advisor, as well as Crystal from Ford that monitors our forums for complaints & problems on here. I have PM'd her my info that they always request and will be taking mine to my dealer on Wednesday for them to hopefully fix this.
Crystal says that they will have the regional CSM also contact the dealer to help resolve this.
I'll keep the thread (& the other thread on here) posted with my results when I get the news & the findings.
So far, it appears to be a combination of leaking refrigerant, possibly mixing in with the evaporator, maybe some clogged lines...& even possibly some mold issue that have been encountered in other 2013 ford vehicles, including the edge.... but it's definitely in with the venting/recovery system & even the A/C system. Oddly, my smell is worse without the A/C on, though it still exists there too. But when it sits overnight, and start it up in the early am & you just simply have the heater/vent even on low... man,...it is rather rank!
Definitely a problem here! Hopefully I'll have a solution from my dealer on Wednesday, or how ever long they keep it.
Keep ya posted....

No updates for me. Smell is still gone. I haven't needed the ac yet so I don't know if water pours out the bottom. If it don't that May be why the evap housing cracked when it froze.

I think you've possibly nailed it.

I just dropped my F150 off this morning to the dealer. I also provided them with the service report that Jfro50 posted. I will keep you all posted on what they find and what corrective action is taken. I am guessing I will be getting a 2014 Mustang GT as a rental! LOL!

Ok, status thus far. They are keeping my truck for a couple of days. Camera noted some type of "staining" on the plenum which may be consistent with the evaporator leak/issue that others have noted. Dealer is going to replace the plenum and possible the evaporator or whatever other parts are needed. Will keep everyone posted. BTW, no Mustang rental. It was either a Ford Escape or Ford Fiesta(NOT).

Glad you are having some luck. Tech at my dealer couldnt smell it. Guess I'm going to have to wait till it gets worse.
