Stock hid headlights.... Getting flashed for high beams

Seems a lot of on coming drivers think I have my high beams on when I don't

I get flashed a lot for people thinking the highs are on.

Anyone else have this happen ?

Last night coming home on a 2hr drive I must have been flashed 5 times.

Stock hids on low beam.

It happens to me all the time, I think people just aren't familiar with the brighter color of HID. I flash them back, else they will never learn.

Yes. Same problem here. I imagine you could adjust them downward a bit more to alleviate the problem. I believe it tells you how in the manual. You might want to check them.

Happens a lot in my wife's Edge Limited with HIDs.

Like KP said, people are apparently not familiar with how bright these things are.

I aimed mine higher..lol They don't light up much of the roadway if they're aimed to low.

Just hit them with your high beams back.. This happens to me frequently

Are you guys that are getting flashed in leveled trucks? If yes, did you re-aim down after the level? You really should if you haven't. Being below the cutoff is nightmare on your eyes. Proper aim is crucial. It's explained in your manual.

All the time. Combination of projectors and being up high. My truck is stock, no level. They also flicker on when the light sensor detects you going through an underpass or into a dark area and I think people think I'm flashing them.

Last night this crazy woman was going nuts at me because she thought I was riding her @$$ and giving her the hi beam. Apart from screaming out of her window she pulled some stupid stunts to try to piss me off like slamming her brakes in the middle of the road and weaving around construction pylons.
