Default Stock 5.0 exhaust praise??

Even tho I live in a residential area, I have a little 100 yr old gas station diagonally across from me, which hasn't sold gas in 30 years, so it's always been my neighbor's hangout spot for all of us growing up.
Well now a little mobile tire repair shop is in there. He fixes big rigs when they're down on the road and sells passenger vehicle tires here & there.
Anyways, the street is busy in the morning, so I usually take off in a hurry or boot it just for the hell of it, because it's also a slight incline so you gotta get on it.

The point of my rambling is, they are all truck guys that work there and hang out back after work, and I bumped into Bill the owner of the shop and he asked me what exhaust I put on my truck. I said nothing...It's stock.
His words, with no embellishment were "I've been meaning to tell you, we think your truck has the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard on a truck. Everyone wanted to know what brand you went with. I'm shocked, that's just the stock exhaust!"
So If all those guys like it, then it's gotta sound good and that means your Coyote is turning heads, just stock too.
Throw another check mark, next to the reasons I love that engine.

Not only does the stock exhaust sound good on a 5.0, being a flow through design it performs well. Unless folks just want to be loud, I think money is better spent on other mods like a tune if you want bang for the buck.

Ford really nailed it with this exhaust! It's burly when you get on it hard, then silent while cruising. Best of both worlds IMO.
Mine has been sounding even better with age for some reason.

I have to get somebody to drive it, so I can hear it.

The stock exhaust was the most quiet exhaust I've ever seen. It was so quiet that I couldn't even tell what my engine was doing or when it was switching gears. It actually messed with my brain a little. I had to change the exhaust just to make the truck seem normal.

You guys must have ultrasonic hearing. Lol. There is almost no sound coming out of that stock exhaust. Cats, resonator, then a muffler the size of a trash can. Yeah...it kills ALL the sound.

It's not loud by any means, the decibel level is very low. The tones and notes of the exhaust are what we are talking about. When most stock exhausts make a truck sound like a vacuum cleaner hose, the Ford factory exhaust has a good - but tame rumble to it.

Couldn't agree more with you guys!
I find any sort of excuses to go for another spin and hear that "symphony" over and over again. Especially late at night time!
