Default Still Grinning

Hey guys,

It’s been 3 weeks since I picked up my new truck and I still love it to death.
I come into work with the biggest ***** eating grin every day.
The only thing that really irks me so far is the speakers sound like crap. But that can be fixed after saving up a few bucks.

One down side is I look for any excuse to drive it. I am already up to 1300 miles.
I do kind of feel guilty for trading in my 99 F150. She gave me over 10 years of flawless service but in the last year she started struggling to stay alive.
I fully expect to have this new girl for over a decade.

I thought my truck info was in my signature.
It's a 2012 XLT Screw 4x4 with the off-road package.

I love driving mine too, I find any excuse to drive her. My other option is my 08 focus, which i find really boring and non manly ( 4 when i really need to save on gas!) Congrats on the new purchase

I am making the final payment on my wife's Focus this month. I know what you mean. We bought it for the fuel economy back in 2008. But trips are brutal as I am a rather large man. Getting in and out of the Focus isn't my idea of a fun trip. But it's been a pretty good car for the most part though now she was the Edge.

Don't feel too bad about wanting to drive it everywhere! I bought mine roughly 6 months ago, and now have 22,000 km (13, 750 miles) on it! Still gives me a big grin every time I get to drive it!!

7 months later I still have a big fat grin every time I drive it. My girlfriend is sick of me talking about my truck all the time. If I go one day without driving I feel like something is missing lol.

Very nice truck!

I got mine also around the same time and I feel the exact same way. Upgraded from an '08 VW Jetta, a car I liked, and cannot stop driving and finding ways to tweak/add-on to it to make it more fun.

You need to upload some more pics -- and I say that knowing full well I need to do the same.

I've had mine almost 2 months and I still smile every time I pull out of the drive way. The day I picked it up I took a long lunch and drove it to work. I am an engineer at a tier 1 OEM supplier and I work with a lot of gear heads. That afternoon I had 5 people stopped in the parking lot oooing and ahhing over it.

My wife wants one next. I let her drive it and now she's stuck on getting one.

Still love my truck too. It sucks that when you have a few issues with it it kinda spoils it...oh well.

Sync, leaky third brake light and a couple transmission irks had me at the dealer, but I still love my truck
