Default Which Step Bar?

Which step bar is good quality, easy to install and easy on the wallet? doesnt need to be a full running bar could just be the steps attaching to the frame... If you got some pics of some good ones let me know... the two i have been looking at are nerf and go rhino. if you know of other less expensive and looks good and wont break/rust... post some links and/or pictures.... Also if you have one on a leveled truck would be awesome also. Thanks so much

I have a pair of the oem aluminum step bars that come on the xlt chrome package for sale. They will fit 2009 and up super crew. They have the brackets so all you would need is the hardware kit.

Take a look at runningboardwarehouse.com. They look pretty good in the pics. Have not seen a set on a truck tho.

I don't think you can do better than oem. The fit & quality is unsurpassed by the aftermarket options. I had Westin full length all the way back to the rear wheel well on my '05 Dodge 2500, they were ok. I like the stock XLT ones in my '11 F-150 best of all the trucks I've owned.

Yes, those are the ones. They hug the body nicely and still give a good step.

Those look nice res4ue! Is ur truck leveled or lifted? Guess ima have to save up for those ones! I like the oem ones on my '13 fx4 but I've always been a huuuuuge fan of the step look... This is my first truck and ever since I was like 19 ( 29 now ) I've always wanted a truck and new exactly how I wanted the finish product to look and the step is one of the pieces...

My brother has nfabs and I was going to buy them as well, BUT the step placement seem too far forward and they are slippery when even just damp. I like my fx4 boards, just need to space them out a bit.

I'm with Half Ton. I have Nfabs on my truck (the ones with the bed step as well) and the front step is a little far forward. You get used to it and it's not really a problem getting in, but it's pretty much useless getting out. I'd buy another bar if I was spending the cash, but they came on my truck when I bought it and I'm not in a hurry to change. They are a little slippery, but they're not terrible. I bet they could be covered with some grip tape to make them better.
