Default Steering wheel switch not working

In the 2014 FX4, my ok button and arrows above the cruise controls on my steering wheel have stopped working. I replaced the switch (seemed logical) with a new Ford switch. Still have no action from top half of switch. I am considering it to be an electrical connection situation or a programming glitch. Going to look at electrical diagrams next. Any ideas?

I don't know much and have never done it myself, but maybe the clock spring is bad?

One word of caution though... be careful and do some research before working around that airbag. I personally wouldn't feel comfy to do that stuff on my own.

I believe I can close this topic. Scan with Forscan and OBDLink EX gave me the trouble code to research and I found a procedure to test the clockspring with a multi-tester. A step-by-step procedure I can follow. I do expect the clockspring to fail this test. I will update this with the results. By the way, the trouble code was B1A82:13-0A.
