steering wheel clunk?!?!?!?!
I would believe this if it was conducted by someone other than a car manufacturer... ever heard of marketing gimmicks.... watch any other manufacturer commercial for a car, atv, boat etc... all the same thing!
some of us are just to easy to convince!

So video proof is not good enough for you? Plus they get 13 mpg.
update- I have gotten no where. the dealer says that the Ford hotline has not heard of anyone having this problem. I guess they do not look at the sticky thread on this site.
Called the regional guy from Ford back he is no help. I guess its time to get something else. I have owned 11 fords and this will be my last. kicker is now my dads is still in the shop and a coworkers is as well.
so has anyone got any info on the Tundras or the new GM's- makes me sick even thinking about getting one but what the hell do you do!

I see your CSM has you scheduled for a call tomorrow. Keep working with him for a resolution!

The Tundra bed flex is so overhyped, overblown. 90% of owners will never get their truck near a situation where the flex is even an issue.
I like how everyone claims to need such off-road prowess ability to ford the Serengeti but all I see are shiny mall-crawlers.
I have driven several 5.7 Crew Max trucks and loved it every time aside from the comical looks/ design, gas guzzling but extremely powerful 5.7 and un willing to discount the price to domestic truck levels.
That said I have a buddy that works out of his Tundra ('12 Rock Warrior or something like that??) he had an '07, 5.7 before that he drove into the ground, 197k miles and only called for brakes, tires and oil changes. Dealer still gave him $18.5k on trade for it beat to hell with dents and scratches everywhere, filthy interior as he works for a living out of it.
Don't get me wrong, I love my F-150 and the way they drive better compared to the Tundra, but my truck has been in the shop several times for things like drive-shaft yoke slop, the 10-30 mph vibes everyone keeps talking about. My A/C & heat fan speed regulator quit, I had a leaking front strut replaced, my electric power steering rattles/ clunks over bumps etc....
All I'm saying is people in glass homes shouldn't throw stones.
*edit* I tried like mad to get my friend into an F-150 back in 2012 when he was looking for a replacement on his '07 Tundra, he kept asking me how I liked my F-150, oh which I always replied I like it. But the reality was I think he got nervous as everytime he saw me during that time I was in a rental truck because Ford was trying to figure out my slip-yoke thunk or something else at the time.

proof by a Ford commercial... nope! and 13mpg's huh. my neighbor is on his 3rd one this one with 160k miles. he travels for work. logs every mile put on it. his avg. is way more than 13. closer to 19. that is with 5.7 max tow with I believe 4:10 gears.
did they say on the same video they get 13mpg's.
anyhow back to the thread... I started it and I am tired of this!

this has got me absolutely no where... except more mad then I already was. the first time he called me and told me to visit the dealer. I did... they said they had no conversation. now they finally admit to talking to him after I called him and told him the dealer said they knew nothing. I went back yesterday and they said that Ford told them it is normal.
the sales manager has been decent about it and wants to get me into a new truck- and is offering a decent deal but I really don't want to spend $12k to solve this problem.
Ashley I appreciate the help but at this point it is no good. I see how Ford has approached handling this and honestly I am not sure if I want another one or want to keep this one.
