Any good ideas on how to keep squirrels and rabbits from chewing on my wires ?

I currently use my Miniature Schnauzer for that purpose.

 

I've recently started using rat poison food blocks for that! They(and everything else) eat it then crawl away to die! This also works WONDERS on rabbits

 

You can spread Neoprene Flakes around where you park your vehicle to keep the varmints away. According to this http://www.gardenista.com/posts/10-e...utwit-varmints , hot pepper flakes will also keep them away.

 

You might want to check your state law, In Ohio you can only use poison inside structures. Using it outside (vehicle parked outside qualifies) for the purpose of killing wildlife is illegal and punishable by a $10k fine and 90 days in jail per occurrence.
An Ohio wildlife official was nice enough to inform me of that law, and also let me know that Miniature Schnauzers are really good at rooting out rodents.

 

What about Moth *****? It kept them out of my garage.
I started using those Mint smelling trash bags too. It stopped them from gnawing on the lids.
Little, pia they are!

 

Same thing as Neoprene Flakes. Does a good job.
