Default Squeaky Leaf Springs

My dealer thought it would be wise to grease my leaf springs last time I brought the truck in complaining about the slip yoke clunk. After my first trip down a dirt road I have developed a horrible squeak from the rear springs. I tried power washing the grease out and using some dry lube with no luck. Any ideas?

Brake clean. Use it at the car wash. Spay it in first then power washer after. Repeat.

Take it back to the dealer and have them replace the pads they lubed, and they can clean the grease off. Also tell them to check the T.S.B.'s for this issue. It CLEARLY STATES to not LUBE!!

Make sure your tailgate is slammed closed. If its closed softly it will squeak like a champ. I thought my leaf springs where squeezing it was just my tailgate.

It's the springs, for sure. They have anti squeak pads between them, but if you get the pads greasy.... SQUEEEEAAK.

It's been discussed on here before, i recall.

Imagine that. It pisses me off that I take the truck in for one thing and it comes back with the original problem and a new one. This has happened to me a few times with this truck. I've tried both dealers here in town and they both suck. It can't be that difficult to get things fixed right the first time. The service writers always look at me funny when I suggest what may be causing the problems. It's like they think all other people are clueless about vehicles and how things work. I don't make demands and am always nice to them but I guess I may have to start playing hard ball.
