Default Spyder LED taillight hyper blink on driver side?

So I installed spyder taillight in my 2013 ecoboost and the driver blinker is blinking real fast but the right is fine. Anyone else have this issue. I'm driving home still but I will check connections when I get home.

Not a short- you need to add a load resistor to trick the BCM that the lower current draw from the LED light is not a short. Get 2, 60Watt, 2.7 Ohm resistors. Tie these in parallel to the rear stop/turn lamps in the rear. This will load the circuit enough to eliminate the hyperflash.

It's a common thing. These resistors are available on line, Radio Shack, surplus stores, ...

I was going say the same exact thing, it was only the drivers side that would randomly blink at different rates. I added the adapter per the response above and it fixed it on the drivers side but started on the passenger side so I added it there. But it says not to use for lights that are always on, and when the taillights are on, it is one.

It did fix the problem on both sides now? But want to make sure I don't burn up my harness.

I just did the black and green and yellow on the top bulb. If anyone else has done this please chime in, would love to hear your experience.

Default Hyperblink solution without installing dangerous resistors

Go to your local autoparts store and buy a replacement blinker module. They are SOLID STATE RELAYS and will fix you problem without having to cut/splice dangerous resistors into your factory wiring harnesses. Also, installing these resistors makes these energy efficient LED's draw the same/more current from your truck as the factory bulbs did. Please help me spread the word because everybody seems to be buying into the idea that you need these DANGEROUS (they can get crazy hot!) resistors to make them work right.

Can you give us a How To for installing these? I can't picture in my head how they would go into the harness without splicing.

it's a relay, you replace an existing relay with another one. change it like a fuse
