Default Spark Plugs

My 2011 Ecoboost is almost at 100,000kms (Canada). It recommends in the owners manual to change plugs at 160,000kms?? Should I be looking at changing plugs now or waiting? Will I notice any difference in performance by changing them? No issues with truck. Fuel economy is not great, but not terrible. I know the Eco is a bit different when up comes to plugs and other things (love the Eco!!). Thanks.

Yer actually due - if not overdue - fer a change right now.

EB's are hell on plugs. Bad things happen downstream if left unattended - plugs are cheap and the procdure is easy.

I am not an Ecoboost owner but a good friend of mine is. He's been complaining of poor mpgs and loss of power. he had around 40,000 miles on his truck when he changed the plugs.

He couldn't be happier with the change. Said his mpgs and power came back.

From his experience, do it.

Yes change them already. Personally I wouldn't go over 25k miles without replacing them on the Ecoboost.
