Default Spare Tire

I have a 2013 Platinum with Bridgestone tires, but discovered the spare is a Goodyear.
I find it difficult to believe Ford would cross brands, am I wrong?
Is this the norm or do I need to contact the dealer to fix this?

Ford very likely negotiates different contracts with spare tire suppliers. I think the tire manufacturers labor unions may have something to do with it.

.
WorkingAsDesigned

MEANING: Normal.

Full-size, regular tire or not, the spare is intended as an interim until the failed regular is re-paired|placed.

I could understand a different size for the spare but I wouldn't have thought they would have two different brands on the same truck.

The sizes are the same. MEANING: The regular wheel and the spare have the same diameter (or VERY close to it) - 32.1" *With the exception of the Raptor.

As for brand of tire (and style of rim) ... Co$t is the factor. Why put a regular wheel (rim+tire) when the intended use is interim?
