Keep in mind that the stock unit also alters the sound curve and adjusts the bass as you turn up the volume. This can all be over come but it is way easier to put in an after market HU. I really debated which direction to go for awhile and eventually put in a new DD HU and would never go back. It looks sweet and the funtions on it are way better, sure a thief could steal it but that's what insurance is for.

I loved my w6's i wish i never got rid of them.
but i dont remember who makes it but it was on ebay and it was new and everything, just go to ebay and look for 2009 ( because the newer the year the harder it is to find things but they are all the same in the back) and type in "sub box" or "sub enclosure" 12" f150.
