Soooo 2 days
Bought the truck (2013) 2 days ago. Sun roof took a dump on it already. Luckily it is still under warranty. Have an service appt tomorrow. I hope they don't have it to terribly long. Any advice? Or ideas on the time frame im looking at?
I don't have any advice on the sunroof. I would however go through that whole truck checking everything you can and get it taken care of while in warranty. I'm sure everything is good though but that's what I'd do if something broke two days after I bought a truck. I'm paranoid as it is, that wouldn't help my paranoia lol
Oh believe me I have. So far this is all i have found. I know that feeling all too well. I came from owning a Nissan titan 60k on the clock and had to put a new rear diff in And the manifolds were cracked.
Damn, I had a 2008 Titan, traded it at about 50k miles due to a bad divorce but I never had any issues with that thing.
I'm sure your good with the rest of the truck, those sunroofs have been known to have some issues. Your dealership should get ya taken care of.

The moonroof was probably broken when he bought the truck...these moonroofs have not received great reviews on here. I spray Fluid Film on the track of mine and have (hate to say it) not had any issues yet. The key thing is to keep it lubricated- especially if it is not used often. Also, you may want to check your heated and/or heated and cooled seats of you have them. They have been problematic with the F150. They have and upgraded seat pad available for the heated/cooled seats from Ford. It took 3 visits for the Service Dept. to realize the problem with mine.

Having read about premature failures on OEM sunroof mechanism and also Nav, both of those options were omitted when I special ordered my own truck. Subsequently, I did buy Ford ESP coverage with maximum time of coverage rather than maximum miles being the priority for my overall low annual driving usage.
Everyone's needs are different and clearly everyone didn't buy new. Good luck with repairs...
