I have searched around some threads on this topic but I have not come across my question yet. Is the sony sub in the 2012 the same as the the factory subs that come in the 2006 explorer with the nav and the 2008 f-350 with the nav? The subs in those vehicles sounded nice but didn't give a good thump like an aftermarket one would. I know a lot of people here want to upgrade the sub and others have stuffed it with pillow stuffing. I'm just trying to figure out what to expect when I buy a 2013 this fall.
