Soak the floor may with superglue so that the carpet will be nicely bonded with the mat and permanently protected.

My ecoboost dryer isn't getting the said mileage, it's using to much power! And it runs 5 minutes longer than advertised! Could I lower it and chrome it out for fashion statement? Or could I lift it? Would f250 springs work?

From my understanding, you need to apply some hyper miling techniques. Once the dryer is at full temperature and rpm, turn it off and let it rolls base odd the inertia. Turn it back on once the rpm and temperature drops too low. Repeat once everything is fully dried. By using this technique, you will also be able to decrease socks consumption by 30%.

I am not sure about suspensions. I put mine on 2" rubber feets without any troubles.

Does anybody know if a Duet door will fit on an older Maytag? I want to turn it into a Raptor.

For you skeptics I have proof. Have you ever lost a sock on a clothesline? I didn't think so. Another fact is wool socks disappear the most because they are worn by Sheeple.

SO all dryers are programed to eat only one sock.

You are wrong and obviously are working for the Dryer Conglomeration or the Sock Empire.

There is a built in program that they back engineered from an alien crash in Iowa. The ship and 3 surviving aliens were secured and brought to Maytag’s HQ in Newton, Iowa. A technology was discovered that would forever change the course of humanity but Fred Maytag II wanted nothing to do with this evil. The aliens were from a planted of evil corporations called the Galactic Marketing Union who went from planet to planet looking to exploit them for financial gains. The Galactic Marketing Union decided it would be best for Fred Maytag II to step down since he was not willing to utilize this new found knowledge for evil and world domination but they knew he wouldn’t step down so they decided it was time for him to expire. Now they had an individual ready to step in and take over by the name of E. G. Higdon but since he wasn’t really one of them they appointed an alien overseer to make sure things went according to plans. This overseer needed a name so they settled on George M. Umbreit or G.M.U. (Galactic Marketing Union). After studying our species they noted that we had an Achilles heel and that we covered that heel with socks so it stood to reason that by taking one sock away they could expose that Achilles’ heel and use our weakness against us. They can determine the number of socks and differentiate by size, color and material so as to eliminate one of each style and type. If you and others do not wake up to this then we are all doomed to wearing our sandals with only one sock. I don’t know about you but I’m not willing to let my kids grow up in that world.

WOAH! How the heck did you get'er up to that speed?! Mine maxes out at about 45mph... Trying to figure out how to fit it with a flux capacitor, power it with a yet unconfirmed jigawatt of power, and reach 85mph so I can go back in time to get my favorite sock and never wash it again!! You seem to be much closer to the needed speed, please tell me your secrets!!

I don't want to derail the thread, but has anyone tried the Weathertech mats between the washer and drier. When I move clothes between them water gets on the floor and I was wondering if they would help.

Also do I have to install a drain? My washer is right by the door, I was wondering if that would work to route the water out.

Any help would be appreciated.
