Default So this happened...

I was doing about 40 in the far left lane and a lady in a 2006 trailblazer came zooming out of the median without looking and plowed right into the side of me. I swerved to miss the front end collision and she hit me right behind the driver door. The other driver is at fault if you were wondering. Any thoughts on repair estimates?

I'd say if the frame isn't bent you're looking at 5-6k. Also, hopefully the structure of the cab is still intact or the bill will go up.
Make damn sure you get a depreciated value settlement out of her insurance as well since the truck will obviously be less valuable when it comes time to sell. Sorry to see that man, hopefully you get taken care of!

Edit - just noticed the box took quite the smack so that should get replaced too IMO.

And if the frame is bent, is it likely totaled at that point?

From what I've seen on here it's a toss up at that point. Some companies push to get the frame fixed while others total out immediately. If you find out the frame is bent tho, you should push to get it totaled. What year is your truck??

Damn, In Canada if your vehicle is totaled and 2 years old or newer you get a brand new truck.
Either way, I hope your truck turns out OK.
