Snowplows are hard on vehicles. Frames, suspension, steering... I would only put on one a new/newer truck if it is a business truck or one I don't plan to keep very long.
An F150 maybe 10 years old with some rust but still runs good? Put it on!

Snow Sport plow
Best $1200 buck i ever spent
though you cannot back plow with it
but it does a real good job for small plow
add downward tensioner and its even better
pls its a snap to move round and
used it on my 05 suburban and now my 13 f 150
