Default Snow sport HD plow ecoboost

So I have seen the ads for these snow sport plows. Since we can't use a plow these don't use electricity self adjusting and mounts via a front hitch. Any one have any experience with these things? I would love to be able to plow my driveway with it.

I bought myself a 1965 wheel horse snow plow snow chains wheel weights for this winter but would much rather the plow on the truck.

Snow way also makes one

Buddy of mine put the snow way one on his SD. Better than nothing but no better than a plow on a 4 wheeler. small amounts of snow on a paved drive way, OKAY, but not much more…..JMHO, That is my only experience with them and I have a 1 ton dump with a V plow.

That's what I'm afraid of. We get a heavy snow and then I'm done.

I suppose you could always swap it for a 5.0

Which still has the the electric power steering.

A better response would be...I suppose you could always swap it for a 6.2.

This has the hydraulic power steering and can handle a plow.

Snoway is the only one ford approved for trucks with EPS. Just got my installed last week. Approved to EB too.

Keep me posted how that holds up. I know it's the only approved by Ford that's why I'm so interested in it.

lot of threads on this - the epas will plow fine level & straight - it's the wet heavy snow piled up against any plow you put on straining / damaging the epas when turning & piling snow up (improving alternators/ battery power may help fry it faster!) That's why ford said no to plowing with the 2011 + 150s - they should of left the epas for cars only & this would not be an issue.

Should hold up just fine. I only plow the parking lot at my business and a couple driveways.

I talked to the installer about it. He has installed dozens on the 09-14 f150s and has never had one have a single problem.
