Snapping noise drivetrain 2014 4x4
My all stock 2014 F150 ext cab 4x4 (15k miles)is clunking or snapping when I pull in the driveway while its on a bind. I took it to the dealer and they said it was the rear e parking brake, they took it apart greased it cleaned it etc, pretty confident they got it but as soon as I pulled in the drive it did it again. Definitely seems to be from the rear although for the last month I really couldn't tell where it was coming from. One time it sounds like its up front the next the back but now I've narrowed it to the back! I hit record on my phone and hung it out the window while pulling in the driveway and it sounds like someone hitting an empty coffee can with a stick or something. I told the mechanic the sound reminds you of a torque wrench when it hits the max torque you set, it just clicks or snaps. Dealer said you'll have to wait till it does it more often. I've been all over the under carriage, there doesn't appear to be anything moving, no indication of something shifting position or loose, like I said it's when the truck is on a bind. Looked at one thread on here already about it, only one person resolved his issue with new leaf springs. It's driving me nuts! Any ideas? Thanks
