Default SkyJacker Leveling Kit/ TPMS Questions..

I just bought a 2" Skyjacker Leveling kit for the front, of my 2010 FX4, and some Moto Metal Chrome 951/ with 305/55/r20 wheels/ tires. My question is how bad is the install of the kit, and can I run the new wheels and tires with out the TPMS sensors, or does it cause the CPU to go bonkers? I dont use them as it is, and honostly dont even know where to view the pressure from inside the cabin.. or any sort of option for it.

I don't know if you can do it on your new tires but as far as your current tires the TPMS only turns on a dummy light when the tires get too low, the usually don't give out a current psi rating. ps the dummy light looks like this (_!_) only the "_"s in mine are supposed to be more like thie ~

Well I pick them up tommorow, if they fit without the leveling kit, they are going on, and we will see how the computer re-acts...

I got custom wheels on my FX4 and didn't put the TMPS in the new tires. It took a few days for it to happen but the info display will say tire pressure monitor fault. And stay there instead of any other info you want like MPG or Miles to E. Even the milage. You have to hit the little control **** to clear it. And you have to do this every time you start the truck. It annoys the hell out of me but I tend to be picky. I'll buy some aftermarket TMPS in the spring when I put my wheels back on. Good luck with everything. Truck should look sick with the new wheels.

Just pull the sensor off the stock wheels and have them installed in the new ones.

F*** paying to have the tires removed, then have these removed, then re installed. I'll live without them.
