Technically yes these plates "could" bend easier if you hit it from the front than the plates that mount to the frame but realistically, it would take a hard enough impact that most likely all 4 bolts holding the plate would shear first..... like if you ran into a concrete wall.... but more likely the front of the plate would flex just a little and spring right back, or dent a little even with a pretty hard blow.

I have 3 or 4 full front plates for 2011-12 F-150's (excluding ecoboost models) Let me know who wants them I will do $200 shipped on the powdercoated plates and $175 shipped on the bare steel, thats over $75 off. Only reason Im getting rid of these for this price is because they have since been redesigned to so that they will fit '09-10 trucks as well without drilling.

I also have my prototype plate for sale (the one pictured on the truck in the first photos and it is powdercoated black as well. this is esentially the exact same as the above mentioned plates and will fit 2011-12 non ecoboost trucks. It is in near perfect condition and has never been mounted since powdercoating and I will let it go for $175 shipped.
