Default Sizing down tires

I love my truck, and it’s getting close to new tire time. I buy Goodyear tires for all my vehicles...I’m 10 miles away from the Goodyear headquarters. Last set were 325 65 18’s. I’m thinking about going down one size, party because my suspension is most likely dropped a bit for clearance and I would like a little more power. I have a 4” RC. Anyone have a good side pic of 09-14 with 4” lift and 33’s or less? Here’s mine now. I really don’t want the tires to look too small. I go with and w/o the fender flares.

Why not try a more narrow tire? That would save some weight.

Pic of mine with 32" and an RC 4" lift kit.

Keep in mind my truck is 4x2 so it sits about 2" lower than a 4x4.

i think if you go smaller - you need to lose the fender flares. i've seen a few around here with wide fender flares and stock sized wheels, it doesn't flow well. just IMO.

If you drop down to a 295/70/18 you can lose 5 lbs per tire, but gain .2" in height.

I like pizza cutters. Tall and relatively narrow. I have 275/70/18's on my truck with stock suspension. They are slightly over 33" tall. Narrower tires do better in mud and snow anyway. They don't hurt fuel mileage that much. These are E rated Pirelli tires one size up over the 275/65/18 factory P rated tires. Fuel mileage decreased 1.3 MPG overall.

I run 305/70s and have the larger flares and probably more offset. Main reason I didn't go Goodyears was because there wasn't the exact size I wanted. Also, if you're anything less than 4.10 gears, that thing runs like a dog. I know because I use to have 3.55s and 34s. I would definitely downsize it to get some power back.

18” on yours? Those are great looking. Yeah mine was a dog...so I tuned it and now I chirp into 2nd gear. I won’t drive a truck without a tune now, it was night and day on mine. It’s just I’m towing a giant boat now. How much offset do you have? I have -12

-24 offset. 18x10.

Tune did a little for me, but was still heavy. Hell even with 4.11s and Omega tune it can still feel heavy at times.

Huh? I put 5* 87 perf/tow and it woke it up! When I put the 35”s I was gonna take them off cuz I hated the performance. But after the tune it was better than before.
