Well now you're just messing up my mind. lol. I already have a brand new set of Goodyear duratracs 275/60/20's sitting in my shed. Now that truck looks awesome too! You have a good knack of making trucks look good PawPaw!! Maybe I should just throw those on and be done!!

Well it is getting closer to decision time. So I am going to stick with the Goodyear duratracs, but I'm still going over my size options. I have the set of brand new 275/60/20's, but I'm wanting bigger, and the tire place is having a sale on duratracs, and I have some options. For nearly the same price I can upgrade to 285/60/20, or for less, I could go with a 275/65/20, tall sidewall, and for a bunch more, I could go with the 305/55/20's, but it's a substantial amount more. It's a rough life. lol. So far I'm leaning towards the 285/60/20. That way less money out of pocket, which would get me another hunting gun while I'm at it. Haha. But I am liking the other sizes as well. Thanks for putting up with my frustrations. lol

That 285x60x20 is a great but kind of odd size tire. 33.5x12 so it should give you more clearance on the inside to avoid rubbing. A little taller then the 305x55 and the Duratrac is a great looking but kind of heavy tire. Don't know if you've ever looked at the Falken Wildpeak...they look great and reasonably priced. I bought a set for my grandson's Pathfinder and they've been doing great.

This is an '04 Lariat I bought in Jan '04 but didn't start modding it until '05.. I kept it 7 yrs and had over 100K miles on it when I sold it to get the '11. This was a great truck.

After a few mods...picture taken in 2009.

[I]My '04 Lariat I had leveled 2-1/2 inches with 295x70x17 Toyo MT's on 17x9 American Racing wheels.

305/55r20 coopers again.

If it looks off, I had to lighten it for the detail.

Just got her some newer shoes. I was looking at the Falken's but found a good deal on a set of used Terra grapplers. Tires have about 10k on them already but they will do till I sell my house later this year. It makes me nervous how close they are to rubbing the balljoint/ knuckle.

Default Help deciding

I'm looking at some Nitto Trail Grapplers on my 2014 FX2 Supercrew that has been levelled with a 3" front motofab kit.

Trying to decide between 305/55 r20 or 295/55r20. Going to use stock wheels for the time being.

Does anyone have these and can tell me the difference. What I think I'm seeing is the 305s are a little wider and stick out a little more.

Do I need to worry about rubbing here?

Thanks for the help.

With 3” of clearance up front you should have no issues for rubbing on a stock 20” wheel. I can’t say for aftermarket ones with different offsets.

im happy with my 305’s.
