I don't listen to much radio. When I do I listen to AM talk radio and mine still picks it up. I got mine through craven speed as well. If I'm going to go on a long road trip, I would put my factory one back on.

I had a shorty on my 09 mustang gt, and it worked just as good as factory. Of course, it wasn't the "stubby" style like I'm seeing here. It was metal, and 8" long. Short enough to look good, but still got good reception. Americanmuscle.com has them. I believe they will fit the f150 too

I have the Craven Speed antenna as well. Had one on my last truck as well.

If I am not listening to SIRIUS, I am on Bluetooth with Pandora!

My last truck was lifted, and was tired of it hitting everything. Same plan for this one.

Is that the same one from craven speed ? I was looking at their website and their product looks to be of nice quality, but I need good reception. I don't live out in the country, but not in a metropolis either.

What do you think of the stubby from craven? Good local radio reception?

Yeah. Bought it from them via amazon. In town stations were so-so, next town over stations were non-existent. My town is only about 15 miles across.

Edit: I just put my stock one back on and have let it slap the garage door every day. Haven't wanted to gamble another one yet.

If anyone has any pictures of what their truck looks like with the new antenna please post it up. I'm worried about getting one that is super short that it looks stupid. Recommendations? Thanks!
I was recently looking to purchase a shorty as well. My antenna hits the garage door. A friend of mine told me to just cut my stock antenna down.... Duh, why didn't I think of that? So I did it, cut my stock one down to 18". Just snipped it off with a pair of linesman's pliers. I was even able to pull the little ball off the top and reinstall it. I don't notice any change in reception and it looks clean as hell.
