Shift console lights... leds?
My shifter backlights on my console have not been coming on consistently lately... wondering if they need to just be replaced. I'm not sure what types of bulb types it takes and haven't found anything from searching... maybe I'm using the wrong terms? I can still see the gear on the speedo cluster but its nice having the console illuminated as well...
Anyway, it is a 2013 F150 Limited and I can't remember if they changed with the ambient lighting scheme or not but they did used to come on.
Anyone know the bulb type so I can try swapping in some new ones?

Looks like a wedge type bulb... anyone a bulb expert here? I'd like to pop in a LED bulb if I could.
Would something like this work?

So to finish this off, I ordered some T5 74 base led lamps (link below) in both white and ice blue... I have the ambient color changing accents in my truck but the stuff that doesn't change is ice blue... so I installed the ice blue. It's a 12 pack of each and you only need two. Dirt cheap too as of writing this was ~$5/dozen
The LEDs are polarity specific so when you're installing them you want to check if they work... if not flip it around and it should. For sure they're brighter than OEM It'll be an improvement over the OEM as they've been half working as of late, probably on their last legs before the filament goes out.
Hardest part for me was pulling and then getting the socket back into the sockets. Take note of the notches on the socket and mine were clockwise to release and counter to put them back in... otherwise small hands probably make it easier. I used needle nose pliers to get them back in. The front one is the trickiest of the two to replace or was for me.
