Serivice at Planet Ford in Houston

I've been to this dealer for three different problems and every time they found out I didn't buy my truck and refused to help me. Looks like Ford needs a call.

As I posted on another thread, when the new body style came out i asked one of there sales people about an fx2 and he didn't even know what an fx2 was and then after explained he said they weren't making them anymore. Planet fords a bunch of retards. My dad bought an explorer from them and said it was the worst experience ever. That's why they've changed the name 3 times.

Did you steal your truck? If you don’t like them, just don’t do business with them. I don’t do business with places that don’t want my business. There are at least three Ford dealers within 10 miles of me. I’d hope that it’s the same in Houston.

Where did this idea of stealing my truck come from? And I'm posting this to pass the word to other people in Houston to stay away.

I would hate to have to work with a dealer like that. I hope Ford is able to help you!

I see you have the 6.2L, would you mind elaborating on the issues?

I highly recommend Joe Myer's Ford on 290. Took my wife's 2010 Fusion to the dealer we bought it from 4 times to fix a probem with the blind spot system. Finally gave up on them and took it to Joe Myer's and they fixed it the first time. Also took the F150 to them and the service writter let me go back and talk to the Tech face to face. They are very helpful and actually listen to what your problem is.

Stupid issues. The badge on the tailgate isn't completely stuck down. They say it's normal. The zipper on pocket on the back of the passenger seat is stuck half open and today, with the heat, the windshield started cracking from beneath the plastic trim at the bottom. They said it can only be caused by a rock chip. There is NO rock chip. I use to repair them. I know what they look like. There is only a crack. With where the crack is coming from, the plastic would have to be removed for a rock to hit it. The service manger is an idiot.

I have no problems with the engine. I love it.

Ahh, I see. Well, I don't know if one problem is 'better' than another, but at least you're not having reliability issues. I'm having my share of those lately.

At any rate, good luck getting your stuff taken care of!

I hate that you have to go through a middle man (service writer) to get your truck fixed. I wish you could talk to the Tech and be done with it.
