Default Serious problem with Sirius.........

Was I surprised! Received a call from a Collection Agency this week! Sirius radio sent me in ( I am 72 and this is 1st time in my life for this) for collection and they never even called me or sent me a bill about being "past due"........ Truth be known, I no longer own the car in question.... traded it in 3 months ago and still had 3 months left on the 1 year service agreement i bought last April! So I was NOT past due...... and NEVER heard a word from them....... afraid I was somewhat rude to the poor sole calling....... but have filed a protest about the errant charges..... anyone else out there receive problems from this company? I still have 3 months left on my 6 month "free service" that came with my new 2011 Screw...... wait till they contact me to initiate service on that one! Sure am glad i did not use a credit card where they could just go ahead and automatically charge you!

Great idea on NOT giving them your credit card number!! This is another example of their great customer service.....NOT!
You should easily be able to fix this with the credit reporting agencies, as you no longer own the vehicle....best of luck in this...

And this, good sir, is the reason I will NOT be renewing my Sirius contract once my trial period is over too.

They sound so crooked. Back before they merged with XM, we had an issue like this where they said that we didn't call them after our trial period, and since 2 months elapsed we owed them for those two months. I told them to stuff it up their ***es as negative option billing is illegal in Canada.

His tone soon changed.

Yeah, seems they are such garbage people that there's no way I was going to renew after the 6 months expired. But you shouldn't have to go to war with these scumbags to make them back off as that costs you time and effort.

seems like i am one of the few who love Sirius, but I do live in an area where there are only 5 radios stations that play the same 6 songs on a continuous loop, and since I farm I am in a vehicle for 16+ hours a day, so Sirius satellite radio is a no brainer for me and I absolutely love it, especially Sirius 28 and XM 52, central time monday-friday 2pm to 6pm, Jason Ellis, best show on radio, 100 times better than howard stern as far as im concerned, Red Dragons!

I love it, too. Sorry you guys had problems. I tried streaming Pandora through BT and it sounded like *****. I don't know how you guys can listen to that...

So you are saying I just can't let the susbsription expire and be okay? I do not want the sirrius for the inflated price also. I do like it but not willing to pay for it. It is not worth more than $10 a month to me. They do not have my credit card on file, it was activated when I got my truck.

Sirius is great but I could live without it, Jason Ellis is the main reason I'll be renewing. They also play the best of on Sunday same time and in the morning they have the previous day's show on sirius 108.

i actually loved Sirius when i had it, twice. but i will not renew it ever. if it comes with the vehicle, great. if not, oh well. and to the one poster who said his Pandora streeming thru bluetooth sounded like sh$t, mine sounds just fine. i use my cell phone all the time in my truck to listen to Pandora, and when i get a call or text, it actually pauses and lets me know it's ringing. guess it depends on the device you are using?
