I have a SCT tuner that I had for my 5.0 mustang. Free tunes for life. Question is I got rid of the mustang and now have 2011 Lariat 5.0 should I be able to call them
And get my tuner reprogrammed for my truck ? Has anyone done this and do they charge you for new tune for truck verses mustang ?

If you are referring to AM Free tunes for life then no, it doesn't transfer.

OP, I run the iTSX on my personal vehicle and I really like it a lot. Far as tuning itself, it does the same job as the SF3 3015 but it has a lot more features and can hold lot more custom tunes which I use since I have 7 tunes for my car and I swap em regularly.

No, you can still use the SCT on your truck long as you unmarried it from the Mustang. The SCT unit is HOW a custom tune is uploaded, how well the truck runs is dependant on who WRITES the.

The iTSX though does come with tunes written by SCT on it though so you probably can just load it up and use one of those. It will auto detect what you need

If you returned your Mustang's tune back to stock, then you unmarried it. Now you can use the tuner on any car or truck that your tuner supports.
