Default Sct tuner for Eco-boost

I'm looking at maybe getting a sct tuner for my '13 ecoboost. I have an Afe cat-back exhaust and want to get an Afe intake, then get the tuner. Does the preloaded tunes account for these mods or do you have to get a custom tune?

Ps I live in Saskatchewan,Cdn. And there isn't any tuners close to where I live.

Don't need a tuner close, it's all through email. The canned tunes suck in comparison to custom tunes. Also if you are looking for performance gains skip the intake and go straight to the tuner.

That being said I believe there are a few adjustments you can make on the canned tunes for bolt ons

Ok, thanks for your input. Anyone else have anything to add? I want to make sure the tune is nice and safe as this is my everyday vehicle, and plan to keep it awhile.

Id wait for a black friday sale from one of the main tuners on here or elsewhere. 5 star, mpt, ssi, etc. they are all safe and have good tunes. seems some trucks get better results with different tuners.

Ive used all 3 I named and others. I have my favorite but none of them are bad. just good or better...

Dont get an intake. Its not worth the money.

Get the tuner and tunes (5*) through stage3motorsports.

I'm north of the boarder and went with MPT tunes. They were great to deal with and the tunes perform very, very well. I've had a lot of tunes (5 different custom tuners on 4 different trucks) and MPT was one of the best overall experiences period.

They sell AFE and can adjust your tune accordingly.

My brother-in-law is trying to sell me his diablosport. He was told that was the best tuner for these trucks. Which I don't believe, as I always thought Diablo was more into chev and dodge. ????

There isn't really a "best" tuner because people use them for different things. It depends on what you want it for. If you're just going to use it to load custom tunes you're going to buy and download, it won't really matter which tuner you use as long as it supports that. They're all the "best" for that particular job, some just more expensive than others.

I've heard that their canned tunes are some of the best for the Ecoboost, if you're going to run canned that is. I personally prefer custom.
