Default Rust on my 2012?

I waxed my 2012 F150 today and realized that there are tiny little specks of rust in/on my paint ALL OVER.

I understand that rust happens here in MO but 2 months into it?!

Anyone else have these problems?

I live in mo too no rust yet but had a peeling spot on the plastic part on the front under the head light. I noticed the last three cars I bought they all have the thinnest paint coats I have ever seen.

I live in MO also. No problems here. Try using mothers clay bar on it. My super duty had the same thing you have and clay bar took care of it.

Do a search for "rail dust". There are a few products that can help remove it. As mentioned clay bar is one of them.

Yup. Clay bar to start. That rust is typical where ever snow plows are. As they plow they wear down the blades leaving tiny particles everywhere just to get stuck on your paint.

Make sure you use lots of lube and mix the clay a lot.

Sounds like what people on here call "brake dust". If that's what it is, it should come buff off

I haven't had any issues like that, except that plastic piece gets rock chips like no other..

I'm taking it to the body shop on Monday. They are going to do a courtesy detail on it and try to remove them.

Had the same on my 2011 white FX4. Got all the info I needed here. Took 4 hours to wash, clay bar and wax my truck with Collinite. Looks even better then why I bought it.
