Default Running Board Question

First off I did search the Forum, but couldn't find a straight forward answer...so here is my question:

What is the difference in the running boards on a 2010 F150 XLT SuperCab and a 2012 F150 XLT SuperCrew? Are there any difference? Reason I'm asking, I have a buddy that has the 2012, and is wanting to put running boards on his...I found a guy online that has a set off of his 2010 F150 SuperCab...he's asking $150 and they are for the most part brand new...He pulled them off when he modified and upgraded...

So do I pursue them or not? will they fit?

Thanks

the first obvious difference (without checking I admit) would be that the SuperCrew is probably 10-12" longer than the SuperCab?

Agreed, I've tried to find the part numbers for verification, but can't seem to find them...I.m guessing they probably won't be compatible, but wanted to ask to be sure...

I'm familiar with the tubular OEM ones used with the XLT Chrome Package. They do have different part numbers and they should be different lengths. Also, the Scab has one long black plastic cover with the Ford logo on top of the chrome running board per side, while the Screw has a shorter plastic cover beneath each door for a total of two per side. Westin, I believe, produces a version that looks like the OEM version, but it lacks the Ford logo. Westin may make them for Ford, I don't know. You can always go on eBay or the Ford accessories website and do a little searching around and probably confirm what you need.
