I an understand that I had a Sport Ram that had no chrome and I did not care for that - Too much paint not enough shine - that is why they make all kinds of accessories and trim levels. Really wanted a cloth FX4 but the black headlights and no chrome just turned me off to it.

Looks great! I have a Sterling on the way and while I typically for with the safe "colors" (ha!), the red and blue jeans are eye catchers. Congrats

absolutely love what you've done to your new truck. 5.0 good choice I had Michelin LTX's on my '88 F250, their the best. had a ice storm in 1990, backroad blacktop curve on a steep hill, ditches on both sides filled with cars & trucks. I drove up the hill right passed all of them, turned around and drove back down pass them. many of them were asking (yelling) me to stop and pull their vehicles out, but no way was I going to hook up to another vehicle on a solid ice road. Awesome tires, managed to get 60,000 miles out of them with still good tread left.

Did you get those stainless tailgate strips from Ford? the link takes me to the bed cover instead. I really really like them & want to put them on my FX4.

Shucks, I think I'm going to have to break into my big piggy bank for this wish list. New wheels with LTX's, bed cover, stainless strips, tinted signals, paint F-150 emblems.

Oh! let me mention to you another goodie you might want. I put the liners inside the rear wheel wells of my truck. looks nicer, easy to clean and they keep road dirt & grime from getting all in & under your truck.
Beautiful truck you got, be nice to it. Wax it for protection.

Here is the link where I bought them

I ordered it with the rear liners. In Iowa you need all the help you can get.

Thanks for all of the Kudos. I realize not all like the shiny stuff but that is my thing and a little goes a long way.

Looking for a Limited, Platinum or Lariat grille that I can paint the outside and have the bar look in chrome to limit the blob of chrome the front has on it. But I am not purchasing a new grille for 600 plus just to paint up.

I would do an fx4 if I can put my chrome pieces in the middle

albertschmitz,

Congrats! That is one gorgeous truck. I love the chrome on the tailgate!

I'm here if you need anything in the future.
